all that planning

Today I woke up and it's raining. Perfect weather to be sad.. Yeah, I'm sad. Well, more over disappointed than sad though. I had my mind, soul, and body 100% on board to make a video for a film festival. It was going to be my first film festival ever.. But the concept was changed last minute. I couldn't get a filipino kid to play the main part. The video was supposed to be a recreation of my first day in America. It was going to be deep. It was going to be emotional. But I really don't think I can make that film now. Hmm.. I had really planned it out too. I'm proud I did this much planning, storyboards and all that junk. It's all good though. I guess I wasn't meant to be that rich at this young of age. Especially without really working too hard. $100,000 psssshh, that's going to be chump change to be sooner or later.. I'm always going to look at this situation as a learning experience. Well I learned how to plan things tightly, atleast? Ha.. Yeah. You know what's lame? I cancelled out on her for this damn thing. Now I don't have anything to do this Saturday but I can't just go back and tell her, oh I'm free again. Chill w/ me! Sike, got pride homie. Hmm oh well, hopefully next time or something. I'll let her hit me up, if ever. Yeah so back to the video thing.. I think I'd still want to make that concept. I like it. It's deep. Competition or not, it'll happen. One day. When I'm free, HAHA. Highly unlikely. I've been so busy lately. Maaan. That's good though. Oh and I had a good talk w/ Jaleel. I miss him, no homo. He's coming back home from USC this Tuesday. Cool cool. We're gonna have long deep talks. Heh. He is a really wise guy, especially at his age. One of the few people I look up to. Kay, I'll stop talking now. Laaaate.
